Josh Quinton has been a leader in the financial industry for the last 15 years. After working in New York City for Bloomberg LP, he moved back home to Newfoundland to continue his investment work at CIBC Wood Gundy. He grew up in the restaurant business and is passionate about supporting local entrepreneurship, innovation and promoting self-sustainability in the province.
Josh volunteers with several charities in NL and New York, including serving on the finance committee of the Grenfell Association of America in New York, which is committed to providing health care, education, and social services to the coastal communities of northern NL and Labrador. A recipient of Memorial’s Alumni Horizon Award, he was also appointed to the Innovation Council, Health Accord of NL. Josh is a finalist for the 2022 Investment Industry Association of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40. He holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University where he serves on the President’s Advisory Committee
