Event Information

September 26-29, Fogo Island

Shore Time is a biannual gathering celebrating the intersections of art, design, economy, ecology, and foodways.

The artist led program explores the importance of place, our relationship to community economies, and the pivotal role of artists in imagining a sustainable future.

This program is organized by Fogo Island Arts, a longstanding initiative of Shorefast and an international residency program founded on the belief that artists are visionaries with a unique capacity to reveal and respond to the complexities of our time. In coming together on an island off an island in the North Atlantic, we hope to foster a shared sense of belonging.

You can explore the explore the program of talks with celebrated artists, studio visits, design walks, nature hikes, and food circles here: Shore Time Schedule.
