Join us for a multi-part series where you’ll learn new skills while celebrating the food of Fogo Island!
This series, Foundational Kitchen Skills, will explore kitchen safety, basic knife skills, and cooking essentials that celebrate and showcase foodway systems that define Fogo Island, while promoting health and nutrition.
Foundational Kitchen Skills includes 3 classes taught by members of the Fogo Island Inn culinary team. Classes will consist of practical, hands-on learning, and at the end participants will put their newfound skills to the test and work together to make some of the newly-learned recipes.
Open to participants 19 and older.
Class 1: Friday, January 23
Class 2: Friday, January 30
Class 3: Friday, February 6
Time: 6 PM

Registration: To register, please fill out this form. An email will be sent to confirm your place in the class. Please note that space is limited.
Payment and Participation: Total cost for the 3-class series is $45. Payment will be collected at the beginning of the first class. Debit, credit, and cash are all accepted. Participants are expected to attend all classes in the series.
